This store opened in 1998. Rite Aid built around 1200 free standing stores around that time period using that exact same layout, fixtures and signage. This store is very original, but the photo signs are from 2008. Thanks for sharing this video.

Wow. I grew up in Rome and by best friend worked here back in the day 😂😂 many memories at this place

I grew up just across the river near Groton, used to come here all the time as a kid (I also remember when the first Bradlee's across the highway was still a Bradlee's 🤣). The shots inside the windows killed me, but the layout is exactly what I remember. The front area there in front of the half wall was the main dining area, with the counter (on the right) and the show room (on the left) behind it. The playground/sky tube area was over on the far left with some of the arcade games, and (IIRC), the area to the far right had more arcade games including ski ball. I had forgotten about those angled bits of wall near the front doors, but seeing that definitely brought back a few memories. Thanks for uploading! I guess you either get demolished an abandoned building, or you live long enough to see yourself become a Spirit Halloween.

I think that they should put an Ames Department Store in there because Ames is a very excellent store thank you.
